Hoffmann who has been in business for over thirty years as a business entrepreneur as well as an intrapreneur within larger corporations. 2000’s: Moved to Campbell River in 2001, Diane continues to offer organizational strategies and solutions for small business - ONline and OFFline. Diane recently added a focus and dedication to training and coaching small business owners and would-be owners on " how to build your internet business now " for small business start-up and growth, ON- or OFF- line. 1990’s: HRC began to dedicate its offers in marketing and management services, organizational strategies for small business, seminars and training in business start-up and communication, production and self-publishing services of specialized books. Joined the millions of other businesses in the Internet highway. Published "Contextual Communication, Organization and Training". Delivered various seminars in business start-up, management and communication services, through businesses, non-profit organizations, community groups, Boards of Trade, Boards of Education, Federal Business Development Bank, and local charitable groups and churches. 1980’s: Under her previous DMH Management business, Diane promoted and delivered personal and business improvement programs and seminars to business and corporate executives in partnership with Success Motivation Institute. This led into freelance marketing services that developed into a graphics design and production operation for several years. Various contract work kept her busy in industrial and corporate businesses such as, Chambers of Commerce, Board of Education, Ericsson, Hoffmann-LaRoche, BD Medical and others. Began to write her book "Contextual Communication, Organization and Training" from data and experiences gathered over the years in business which was produced and published in the 90’s. 1970’s: Owned and operated one of the most successful sailboat dealership and marine equipment retail business in Southern Ontario, which she operated for seven years in the seventies, with her partner/husband. Started a division that manufactured marine canvas products and boat and small aircraft upholstery interiors.
~ Over the years, Diane has acquired various certificates and diploma in areas of Business management, computer and specialized skills. ~ Obtained a B.Th., M.Th. and Ph.D. in theological studies (esp. Jewish history) by 1991 and studied psychology through home and university correspondence programs. ~ Completed studies as a Certified Nutritional Consultant in 1997 ~ Received a certificate in International Staging and Re-design Professional in 2008.
Current member of the Campbell River Chamber of Commerce and the Campbell River Francophone Association. Past member of the Small Publishers Association of America, the Christian Writers Guild, the Brampton and Mississauga Boards of Trade, the Etobicoke Chamber of Commerce, the Society for Technical Communication, and the Canadian Journalist Association
Current President, ValleyLinks/Comox Volunteer Center,Past Vice-present the Francophone Association of Campbell Riverand other community organizations.
